I do not have a motorcycle coat! He won't let me on unless I wear my leather jacket- it is cute, and not motorcyclish. Where do you live? I wonder if my fh knows yours.

yea ya gotta wear the leather jacket. Its the best protection god for bid you fall off the bike. A friend of ours was wiped out and not a scratch on him thaks to his jacket and helmet. Whenever we go on the bike I always wear my leather jacket. If we ride in the winter i'll have on 3 layers and my jacket. Mine is definatly motorcyclish.

I have never been on in the winter. Too cold!! My jacket is soft leather- I doubt it would be much help, but it is all I have! We live in suffolk. Now that the weather (should) be getting nice, he will probably be out every weekend!

we did a run in December (its the toys for tots run) and HOLY MOLY its cold. I had on a thermal, a tank top (were were going to a friends bar that was doing an after run parrty), t-shirt, sweat shirt jacket with a hood and my leather jacket. I had on my legs, thigh highs, heavy socks, heavy jeans and my boots. When we were on the bike I had a bandana around my face from my nose down tucked into my jacket. I also had on a pair of stretchy gloves and leather gloves on my hands.
I didnt feel a thing of coldness.
But when we got to the bar for the party I was shedding my many layers off.

Thats a fun run. The kids get so happy. This one is based in Queens but its done all over in December. It goes to a childrens hospital and the kids get so excited. I love seeing their faces when they are looking out their window's at the thousands of bikes rolling up. They get so excited.
Its fun to see these big burly macho bikers with tons of toys on their bikes and some with tears in their eyes because it does get heartbreaking to see these kids knowing that they are sick and this is the one thing they look forward to every year.

That is so sweet! He does not ask me to go on runs with him. Oh well! I guess it is his guy time.

LOL..their was one run FI did not want me to go on with him. It was a Hell's angel's run. I really wanted to go but I got a HUGE lecture about going and what to do.
It wasnt bad at all. I had his friends wife with me the whole time after the run when we were at the final location (the HA's clubhouse in Mineola) We ate and listened to great music. We had a fantastic time. The run was beautiful and for a great cause. That was the only run FI did not want me on with him, but I went and had a great time.

LOL! I don't know if you are lucky or not! He does not want me to go for whatever reason, and I do not know if I want to or not! Maybe I only do because I am not invited! He has taken me to a few barbecues, stuff like that.
