I would love to me a SAHM too! But it is definitely not going to happen...right now I am making more money than FH (DOn't tell him I told you! He gets embarassed) but he recently changed his career so he had to start over...it's not going to happen...but what can we do ya know? We want our kids to be provided for!

my sister took an extendede leave (she is a teacher in Queens) but she has since went back because it was too hard to do financially!

Its ok, you can do it! People plan weddings in much ess time, we had friends that got engaged in March and marrie din July!

we do good so staying home is ok and works for us.. if i went to work i would be paying so much for school its not worth it

u can find ur dress - but be patient, it may take a while to find the one...then ull second guess urself but w/out merit...itll all work out

thats what i hear...if i stay home ill have to pay into benefits...like 500 a month but if i work day care is about 700...for someone else to raise my child...who knows....

I saw you live iN Ronkonkoma...did you think of the Wedding Center in Commack? it gets bad reviews but I did not have a problem at all! I am just getting my alterations done at a different place...

I would get your dress first! It takes longer to come in than the BM dresses.

i booked everything in 2 weeks, i did alot of research by phone b/c i live in fl so they were willing to give me quotes more readily...

i have to start and finish my programs today, choose my reading, finalize my montage photos, fax my info to my dj, fit my stepson for his tux, call in the measurements and get our rings...not alot to do within 14 days right?

The one on Crooked HilL Road...I did a search and a lot of people on here did not recommend them but I didn't have aproblem...my cousin had a problem with her alterations there...so I just decided to go to some place closer to home (I live iN Floral Park on the border of Queens)

The reason things are not moving is we were thinking of changeing the date ... heres why FH was married in flordia ... they split up and she left for scotland ... since then he heard they were divocre well come to find out she never did it and she is remarried how we dont know but know we dont know how to go about this .. so a lawyer said to have a fake wedding dont tell anyone and then when its done to just go to town hall.. were starting it now but they dont think it will be done
