The reason things are not moving is we were thinking of changeing the date ... heres why FH was married in flordia ... they split up and she left for scotland ... since then he heard they were divocre well come to find out she never did it and she is remarried how we dont know but know we dont know how to go about this .. so a lawyer said to have a fake wedding dont tell anyone and then when its done to just go to town hall.. were starting it now but they dont think it will be done

my fiance and his x were separated for 5.5 out of the 6 yrs they were married. she finally signed the paperwork in dec 05, 4 mos later we were engaged...it was the best christmas gift ever

i feel ur pain though...it ***** to wait b/c of some skank

I'm sorry that it came out this way..... So I guess she is shocked to know that her other marriage in scotland is not legal .

are u going to file the uncontested? she wont have to show up - they also have the public notice one where u can put it in the paper to notifiy her and if she doesnt respond it goes into it

she doesnt know he doesnt talk to her at all.. its just so hard to do ... they laywer dont know how to do from here so we might be going to flordia

u can go to flcourts.org and find out which disctrict he was married in, u have to go through their courts, from what i understand...

they have paperwork where u can file w/out a lawyer its a bit tedious...i think we paid 363 for his divorce...BEST money ever spent

we had to file in her district b/c thats were the child support order was

but im not sure what its like for out of state filing - each circuit has different rules - to a degree

im not sure, they make it so that if u cant find the individual, you have to make all attempts, including public notification, ny does this too from what i understand

then if she doesnt come forward i think u can proceed
