So I just looked at the little countdown thing and it says 1000 days to go. I have not been planning at all. Should I get my butt in gear or should I wait a little longer? It's so bad that the FH actually asked if I wanted this bad enough. I do, but the money we will be spending on this is scary!

I think you'll be fine. You can definatly wait a few more months before you start with hardcore planning....or if you're feeling ambitious- start now. Either way, I think you'll be fine! Good luck!!

you have plenty of time. i would start really getting into the planning a year before your wedding date!

You definitely have plenty of time before you HAVE to start planning. I just started now cause I'm incredibly impatient Start getting idea's now of what you'd like your day to look like and where you'd like to have it. And the total amount due for the wedding is a frightening figure but there are also plenty of ways to cut down on that ever expanding budget!

no worries. I was engaged for a whole year and still have 10 months to go. Around the year mark I got my a$$ into gear. The earlier the better so you get better prices!! goodluck!

You have plenty of time! Don't stress anything. I would tell you to begin looking at reception halls if you want. Other than that begin researching.
I would begin booking major vendors such as RH and photo/video 15+ months in advance of your wedding so you can book who you want.
