Do you think Sept 15th for an RSVP date is ok for an October 30th wedding? enough time? i'm still not sure how much time to leave although i've read a million posts. need your valuable opinions! Thanks

When are you sending the invites out? It leaves plenty of time b4 your wedding, I think most people usually give only 1 month. You're fine!

Yes I think it's plenty of time. We did ours for 4 weeks before, now I wish I did 6 instead. Oh well!

I don't know yet... we're just designing the layout now and was curious what date to put for the cards. I'm guessing August 1st to send out? is that enough time to give people to respond?

The RSVP for our Oct 29th wedding is Sept 26. That gives us plenty of time before having to give a final count just in case we have to chase anyone....

Our RSVP date was 6/6 for our 6/27 wedding, leaving 3 weeks. It worked out fine. We sent out our invitations 2 months prior to the wedding.

That's good timing. It gives you plenty of time to clear up late rsvp'ers and allows you to send them out early enough to give people plenty of time to reply before the date without being too early.

Our RSVP date is Sept 22...my brother's birthday! We did so early because our wedding is away, you don't think the 15th is a little early?

I think that the 15th is good. You also have to look to see when the hall expects a final count. I said RSVP by Nov. 1st for a Nov. 25th wedding, only to find out 2 weeks ago that the hall has to know by Nov. 4th how many people are coming and they need our check the next week!
