10/7/07 brides!!!

only two months to go!!



what else do you have left to do? i am still tagging my favors and waiting for rsvp's

next step is putting the centerpieces together!

I am feeling overwhelmed, we still have programs, favors and getting all the odds and ends together. I still have to ask some readers too. Thankfully vendors are all done!!! I am still debating getting a DOC though.

We're waiting on RSVPs still. We had a lot and now they are slowly coming in. Have you had that?

im 10/8.. tomorrows 2 months and I have left.. all the favors make and tag
sending out invites tomorrow
finish table # candles
hall just called to pick menu and cake so need to set up appointment
need to make 2 flower girl baskets
need to make 2 ring bearer pillows
order isle runner
make up & hair trial scheduled sept 1
alterations to dress
print menus and programs-have them cut
print and send out Rehersal dinner invites
I need tux's
bridal party gifts
I am behind??

Geez - I can't believe how soon this is approaching - I still haven't sent out the damn invites yet. FH and I are what you would call 'slackers'. Which kinda ***** at this point cause if he doesn't at least pick out a tux or we don't send out these invites, we may be screwed.

Also, I don't get this - we hired a photographer/videographer, I gave them a check - he was supposed to call me to sign the contract and not only has he not cashed the check, but he hasn't called. I'm getting pretty worried here.

-set up final appointments with our vendors
-finalize to be played list (if FH can't decide what song to dance with his mom to, I'm picking it)
-start to print programs
-get readings to readers
-finish maling program trays
-make bubble basket
-get stuff for & make bathroom baskets
-wait for RSVP's to come in
-do seating chart

I know that I am leaving something off

Edited because I forgot the following:
-get marriage license
-put together bridal party gifts
-put together favors for kids
-get scratch offs for groomsmen gifts
-finish painting bank for flower girl
-get stuff together to bring to RH
-final dress fitting
-bridal party lunch

HAHA - I got all that plus:

- sending out invites
- go for alterations for my gown
- get gifts for the bridal party
- figure out a way to afford everything without losing my mind.

I'm the day before you (the 6th) but I figure we're pretty much in the same boat!

I just got invitations out last week, so waiting for rsvps... hair trial today, make up trial in a couple of weeks, engagement shoot in a couple of weeks.

other than that, I think I'm pretty much down to:
- finishing the favors
- finishing various parent/bridal party gifts
- finalizing ceremony details
- meeting w/ hall and picking menu, etc
- working out details of rehearsal dinner w/ fmil
- figuring out day-of details, like who is responsible for bringing things home afterwards, etc.
- seating charts, but we can't do that until september probably, after our rsvp date.
- finishing reception details, like set up for guestbook table, etc.

I think that's all... I keep feeling like there will be something I'll forget!

oh, I forgot! (see, I knew I would!)
- finalize, print, and fold programs
- ask my cousins to be ushers
- dress fittings
- call ceremony musicians about ceremony music (and make up my mind on what they're playing first!)

ahhhhH!!!!

we still need limos
FH still needs a tux
i need to get my shoes dyed

yikes.... yikes, yikes, yikes...

I cant beleive it s only 2 months away ! I still have to take care of

veil and hairclip
day of jewlery
wedding party gifts
order placecards
print programs
FH tie and vest
finalize meu
frame for ketubah
pictures for reception hall

And now that its 2 months till the big day, we can get our marriage license
