10er question: How Many Tiers Was Your Wedding Cake

how many tiers was your wedding cake and how many guests did you have?

i showed my hall a pic of the cake i found that i liked and it happened to be 3 tiers so thats what she is gonna make it but i never considered the tiers at the time, i was just looking at the design.

Mine was 4 and we had a lot left over…. but we also had the Viennese hour so I don’t think too many people even ate the cake.

ETA: We had around 160 people.

Mine was 4 tier with chocolate mousse and cannoli cream filling.

We had estimated 150 guests but we had about 137 in total.

I do know we have the top left but not sure how much cake was left over; we also had the vienesse hour.

Ahhh I can't remember if it was 3 or 4!! We had slightly over 200 guests. I'm going to check a pic now!!
It was 3 big (deep) layers!! And it was plenty!! We even were sent home with the top layer.
It was Red Velvet!! SOOO GOOD!!

Our was 4 tiers for about 200 people. It was a pretty large cake and I honestly have NO clue how much cake was leftover. We were given the top of the cake to bring home. We also had Viennesse Hour.

We had approx 175 guests and had a 3 tier cake.

Ours was 4 tiered (but I had to CHECK ... clearly this detail was very important to me hahaha!). We had about 160 guests.

Mine was 3 tiers for 125 guests....day of we only had about 116 come, but it was more than enough and we took the top layer home.

At my hall, the cake was included. It was supposed to be 3 tiers for up to 130 and 4 tiers for over 130. We got them to keep it at the 4 tiers even though we were at about 120. I don't know if there was a lot left over but my sister still talks about how she wanted the extra!

We had 4 but the bottom tier was Styrofoam so only really 3.

I had 210 guests & 5 tiers of Red Velvet Cake. Delicious! We thought it was supposed to be 4 but they suprised us with 5 & we took home the top 2 tiers.

Mine was five and we had a ridiculous amount left over....top tier for anniversary plus two more tiers. Insanity!

Apparently ours was four tiers! I didn't even know!

My mom has the top tier in her basement freezer for our anniversary. I loved our cake!

Everyones' cakes are beautiful! I love this thread just for the pics!
