Although when people ask DH where we met, he always says Starbucks. Because that's where we met for the first time in person!
In fact for a wedding present, DH had saved his introduction email to me along with my response. He had it put on really nice paper and then had it framed in a beautiful frame. I couldn't believe he had saved it!

My cousin just got engaged to a guy she met on JDate. Actually, I think I now have two cousins engaged to guys they met on JDate. You may be on to something.

It wasnt a jewish day camp, however it was in roslyn and there are a ton of jewish people there

great theory--but I think I blew it for you. I met mine on Fire Island and we're both Jewish.
I had been on jdate, but DH never was.
I had fun on jdate, believe it or not!! A few wackos, but I was able to screen them out pretty easily.
How about theorizing that about 75 percent met on jdate?

Oh my!!!! I can tell you some horror stories as well!!!!! In fact the day I got DH's email, I had actually logged on to to suspend my account because I'd HAD it with dating.

A few times, while on jdate, I happened to meet other girls who told me they were on jdate. We compared notes, and some of hte psychos I met were the same ones they met. Anyone want to compare notes, just for fun. But be careful, it could be someone's FH you are talking about--though I happen to know that the crazy ones I met are still on jdate and now contacting friends of mine!!!!

I have to laugh at the jdate billboard Times Square. FH and I alkways crack up when we see it. They picked the most hideous assemblge of people to put on the billboard. I always tease FH that those are the girls he could have met had he not met me and had gone on jdate instead!

We met on JDate but we first met in college 16 and a half years ago drunk at a fratrenity party our freshman year in college. He came up as one of my matches and with a little Jewish Geography we figured it out.

Yeah I didn't mention cause I didn't want to offend anyone, that while I know a lot of epople who went out with people on jdate, most of them turned out to be psychos...but I guess it's a well known fact all of these sites ave their share of crazies
