'11 crashing - when do you normally get in your dress?
one of the 2011 brides is concerned about getting her dress in only 3 months before the wedding.
i think thats normal?? i ordered mine in june, comingin by end of dec and wedding is end of march. i think thats totally fine????

I think thats fine. Usually fittings start 6 weeks before.

I was told fittings start 6 to 8 weeks before and that my dress would be in before that. This past Saturday was the 8 week mark and my dress is not in yet. I ordered my dress in early January. Every designer is different. I'm calling the salon tomorrow to get an update on when I should expect my dress in.

mine only came in 2 months before, and that was more than enough time. tell her not to worry.

They told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks prior.... it made me nervous. It ended up coming in 4 months prior, so I was definately relieved!

Yeah, 3 mos. is plenty. Mine was in 6 months before the wedding and I only ordered 9 months out. I started my fittings at 8 weeks.
Geez there's 2010 brides who are like a month away from their wedding and just got the dress in!
