Wedding is December 20th, invites are assembled and ready to go, is 11 weeks too early send out invites. I know it is right around the holidays. RSVP date is November 20th.

not at all!! since your day is around the holiday season, it might be better to send them out now so people can start to make arrangements and all!
(plus, i know you are dying to get them out right??)

that's exactly how I feel, my other half says that since he likes to have only 2 weeks to respond to things 11 weeks maybe too long for some poople like procrastinators and they may forget. I am going to the post office tomorrow and sending them out. Thanks for the yes vote!!!

I waited til the 8 week mark to send them out, but I also sent save the dates 8 months earlier.

Also, if you start to get some early no's then you can send out invites (still with an acceptible time frame) to some of the people you had to cut from your list.

Send them out...you're getting married right around the holidays...people may be planning their own parties or making plans to go to parties or visit family...if they know when your wedding is they can plan around it.

thanks girls, they are already in the mail. The thing is we invited about 250 but really only want 185. We invited a lot people that we think will not come anyway but we had to invite them. Our luck will be that everyone will feel that this is a good time to get together or come in from out of state to see relatives. We have our fingers crossed that this doesn't happen!!

I would normally say that 11 weeks is too early, but since your wedding is near the holidays, I would send them out now.
