Did you lovely ladies find it to be true that you get less declines when you send out STD's?

Re: 11'er crashing- STD question
i have no way of knowing but based on who booked rooms at the hotels...STDs did not help at all. i think people wait for invitations before making travel arrangements.
i bet the circumstances are different during holiday weekends.

i did not send out STDs and had about 25% no's.
i doubt it would've changed much if we sent them out.

We were advised by friends not to do STDs and we are happy we didn't--ended up with a 19% decline rate. Ended up having more people than expected and the only declines were those we didn't expect to come anyway.

Re: 11'er crashing- STD question
I was told that if people are told to 'save the date', they do ! If they just get an invitation, they may have other engagements.. which is what im hoping for ! !
These days i like my B-list more than my A !!! LOL

i think save the dates would help the yes rate if you have a lot of out of towners or if you're getting married on a holiday weekend and people would be booking a trip or something
