11er in need of some DJ advice.......

For those that have already gotten married.....did you have to give you DJ every single song you wanted played or just a few so he could see what you liked?

Also did you give them artist and song or just artist and let him choose the song?

Do you give them specific songs you want on the do not play list or just general info?

We filled out a form that had Favorite Types of Music with different genres to check off, Favorite Artists where we had to write them down, Must Play Songs (song & artist), & a Do Not Play list...think that's it.

We didn't go crazy. We just filled out the form & only put like 5 songs on the Must Play list....we left the rest up to them & they rockeddd it. We discussed what we wanted & they followed through.

We filled out a form also. I wrote the title and artist just so there was so confusion. It was actually kinda funny because songs FH checked off I put on the Do Not Playlist. The DJ and FH caught on to what did. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
