def my parents they are so in love even after 34 yrs. Growing up they always had it together I never once saw them fight or argue, I asked my mom about this a few yrs ago and she said they aruged behind closed doors and NEVER disagreed in front of us about they way the other chose to disapline...they would discuss it later if the other felt it was not the right thing to do. I have to say growing up seeing how in love and happy they are I can only hope me and FH will have 1/2 of what they have.

It would be my aunt and uncle (my mom's sister and her husband) - they have been married 55 years and they're still so romantic and cute together. Starting on their 49th anniversary, my uncle takes my aunt to church every year on Jan. 2 to renew their wedding vows. He was afraid something would happen to him before they hit the 50 years mark so he didn't want to miss it. Since then, they go back every single year. It's just adorable.

That is sooooooooo cute

I envy my grandparents marriage. They were married for 40 years before my grandmother passed. My grandfather still talks about her everyday and is always saying how much he loves her and misses her. I would want my marriage to be like theirs!!

My grandparents were married for 50 years. Their secret was not letting anything bother them. They let things roll of their chest and gave each other room to breathe. I always admired them. While they weren't always the most affectionate couple I knew, they were great at growing together and being supportive of one another.

There has been a lot of divorce in my family and I was so scared I was doomed to have it happen to me until recently. Since my stepdad got sick, I have seen my mom come through in ways I didn't think a person could. She has to bathe my stepdad, carry him and take him to the bathroom and it amazes me the strength she has. I look at the way she takes care of him, day in and day out, and I say to myself 'now that is love'. It is terrible that it took such a horrible event for me to see how much my mom and stepdad mean to each other, but I now know if my stepdad was lucky enough to live a longer life they would be together forever. They would definitely be a couple I admire and look up to.

I would have to say my parents and both sets of grandparents. My mom's parents were married for 49 years until my Grammie passed a few months before their 50th. My dad's parents were married almost 54 years until my Pepa passed 2 weeks before their 55th. And my parents have been married for 27 years. I must say I am quite fortunate that I have been surrounded with amazing relationships. They argue but they never went to bed angry.

My maternal grandparents. They started 'dating ' when my grandfather was 19 and my grandmother was 14-even more scandalous in the 1920s!

He passed away a few years back and my grandmother has never been the same.

No...my grandparents hate each other. My other set of grandparents, my grandpa died when my father was 9, so I never met him, so have no idea what that situation was like. My parents have been married just about 25 years now, which I guess nowadays is something to be proud of? but I don't admire anything in particular about it. I dont know...I'm naive I guess, and feel you shouldn't admire something that you're SUPPOSED to do. Like the George Carlin routine lol...you shouldn't be proud of something that's a genetic accident. Proud to be Irish? Why? You didn't do anything. Happy to be Irish? OK, that makes sense

My grandparents all the way. They would bicker here and there since they are human but you could really feel the love between them. I especially used to love when my grandma would drop my grandpa off to work and they'd give each other three smooches - it was so sweet. The first time FH did that to me I thought I was going to cry! Grandpa has since passed on, but my grandma has told me how much the way FH acts and treats me reminds her of him

I would have to say my grandparents. In 1997 they both passed away 6 weeks apart from each other after being married for 62 years !!!!!!! Being that my mom died when I was 8 yrs old, my grandparents became our legal guardians ( all 5 of us ranging from 8 to 18) and I can't even imagine at the age of 62 doing this in life. Wanting to retire, they sacrificed their lives for us. They gave us everything. I did not realize until after I moved out of the house just how great they were. I got to really look at who they were and how wonderful they were together. I know my marriage will be lilke theirs, I can see it so much at times, and it is a great thing. I thank my angels each and everyday for sending me FH and for giving me happiness each and everyday !
