Can you believe this is the last day of 2008? Our year is just a few hours away! So...the last question is....
What has been the best part/experience for you as far as planning your wedding has been this year? finding the perfect dress...the hall...flowers...just the whole concept in general? And whom..besides your fh and us here on LIW has been by your side the most or at least been trying to be supportive and helpful to you as you plan...or maybe even the most excitied for you?

The best part of 2008 was getting engaged! It was amazing!
The most supportive has been my mom. She is always eager to listen to my ideas and help with carry out my ideas. The least supportive..suprisingly has been my sister. She has been super jealous, even though her time will come within the next year or so to get engaged. But she has thrown fit after fit. She is my MOH, but at times, I wonder if she really wants to be because she should be supportive and happy for me, but I sense her jealousy. I know she just finished PA school in Sept so that took its toll on her, but I'm hoping it gets better as the wedding approaches. Ok that was enough for my little vent!

well...for me it wasnt the dress because I knew the dress I wanted for a few years...no joke. I would have to say it was the hall. I had no clue what I wanted until the moment Fh and I wanled into WM and just KNEW! it was totally us and fit the whole comfy home (as opposed to marble catering hall) look that we were going for...the old world wood decor....we were like kids in a candy store and thats when the fun started.
I completely agree with you on this! We had looked into four other halls and when we stepped into what I said was the last hall we'd look at, we fell in LOVE! This was definitely the best part of the planning so far for us.
With regards to support, I'd have to say that FH has given me the most help and support - more than I would have ever imagined! He's always willing to help and we have not had one single argument about this wedding

For me it was the proposal...I knew it was happening, but it was still wonderful, walking up to that bench knowing my little love dumpling would be proposing. I think the best way was how he did it too...he kinda held the ring out to me and cowered back like he expected me to lunge at him LOL. Planning has been very stressful for me, so when things get rough I look back at that time to calm me down.
I guess my mother has been most involved, besides FH. I don't know about supportive, but involved.
