These are the two choices i have for photography right now. Duet i would be doing the video as well probably. Who did you all choose? Whose work do you prefer?? all opinions are greatly appreciated! THANKS :)

i booked twelfth night... i was sold on the spot. a few epcics are in my album.. unfortunately, i was 'blinker' and in alot of the epics i blinked.. not used to wearing alot of eye makeup.
I never met w/Duet so i can say anything. Dominick from 12th night is great.. very laid back, funny... also, about a week after i booked they send us a starbucks gift card as a thank you.. i thought that was a nice touch..

Don't feel bad about blinking.. i have this thing where whenever i smile my left cheek is bigger than my right i guess and it makes my eye look closed.. so i look like i'm on drugs or something..lmaoooo

My friends were very happy with Duet so we booked them. We have the video, the photojournalism, and the photographer. I think we have 10 hours of photography. Thank you cards, parents albums, DVD will have intro & honeymoon pictures on it Mayday

I had a hard time choosing between Duet & 12th night as well. I loved Dom's personality & the small semi-family business feel. Ultimately though...I went with Duet. The big thing for me was the albums. I am not all that creative...and while being heavily involved in the album process or making my own album sounded great initially...after some long thought I realized it would end up being a really big stress...short of not getting done at all. Also...pricing was better with Duet for what I wanted with the album included. Hopefully...Duet was the right choice for me. My Epics are on the 24th so I will feel alot better about it then. For me...its hard to feel confident giving any vendor hundreds of dollars for a service I will need a year from now!!!
From what I have seen of both....they take amazing pictures. Brides on here generally rave about both...so really you can't go wrong with either. Good luck with your decision.

I went with Twelfth Night. Dom was really great and both FH and I loved everything we saw. We really don't want to go the traditional route and we wanted our pics to be 90% photojournalistic and Dom was the only photog that we saw that understood that and didn't push for the traditional.

Definitely 12th Night. Not only was it the best work we saw anywhere, it was also very reasonable and we clicked with the people there right away. If the previous poster meant we had to be more involved because you have to pick an album and an album company, etc out and you don't get any hard proofs, that was Ok by us because we were thrilled with having the flexibility to print our own proofs for far less $$ and put an album together a la carte AFTER the wedding when we actually had money, as opposed to paying for it up front. Now, I say this realizing that those kinds of options are not appealing to everyone, so you have to take that into consideration. Good luck!

We used 12th night also. They are wonderful to work with and we loved all of our proofs. I'm still trying to narrow down the pictures for our album becasue I love all of them(1400!)
