1.5 months until the wedding & still NO First Dance Song

FH chose At Last by Etta James- I like Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban... we can't agree.

We are looking for a song with more of an umm.... older or out-dated feel... kind of a Chicago, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams kind of feel..... Does anyone have any suggestions?

What about Someone Like You by Van Morrison? I love it, but my FH wasn't a fan. There is always True Companion by Marc Cohen. We used that to dance at our engagement party. Thinking of that song just makes me tear up. It's absolutely beautiful.

What about Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins, Everything I Do I Do For You by Bryan Adams, Amazed by Lonestar, God Only Know by The Beach Boys or All You Need Is Love by The Beatles.

i just wanted to say that do NOT worry about this---when you find a song that you both love, you'll know it.

we did not have our first dance song picked out until THE NITE BEFORE the wedding! DH and i couldn't agree on anything--and finally the last song on a michael buble cd in my car was playing--and we heard it, looked at each other and just knew.

you'll find it, don't worry!

we chose our wedding song 1 WEEK before our day so dont worry

how about 'just the way you are' billy joel or 'your song' elton john?

you mentioned chicago- the obvious suggestion- 'your the inspiration'

We only figured out our song recently and actually now we are undecided. FH insisted on an 80's song. The two contenders are Heaven by Bryan Adams or Meet Me Halfway by Kenny Loggins.
