I need my Bo-k, 1 toss Bo-k, 5 BM Bo-k, 1 groom Boot, 5 GM Boots, 2 Mother crosages, 4 G-ma crosages, 2 father boots, 2 G-pa boots, FG Baby's breath ring with ribbon, RB Boot.
5-6 tall CP (Branchs with minimals flowers, hanging votives and crystals)
5-6 short CP (craved out pumpkins with fall flowers, crystals and votives.)
Escort card tree very similar to tall CP but grander.
I feel like b/c i am not using that many flowers it should not be that expensive.
I was quoted 3500 by 1 place and 2300 at another. So for the 3rd I went in with a budget $1500 and she told me that it wasn't realiztic and that I wouldn't find what i wanted for that little money anywhere.
Does this sound right to you ladies??

Re: $1500
My budget is similar. I haven't started looking for a florist cuz I'm too scared I'll get that reaction! What I want to do is cut out the corsages and boutonnieres for parents and grandparents, and only do low CPs. Maybe try ordering branches and votives and doing those yourself? Let me know if you find anyone who will work with that budget!

Re: $1500
i have 4 BMs & GM, and 10 low centerpieces and i'm paying about $1700 at Pedestals.
i think yoru budget is realistic (give or take) if you have all low centerpieces
ETA: i also asked to have 'smaller' BM bouquets (use less flowers) and some other cut-backs.

I think it sounds low...and inst that sick? geez, why are flowers so expensive?
can you switch to low CP's? That will bring the price down considerably.

Re: $1500
you might not get exactly what you are looking for but you should keep looking if you don't want to spend more than 1500.
check our Metro Floral Decorators. If you tell them your budget they will really work with you. They are located in Astoria, Queens but have a location in Nassau as well

Re: $1500
Did you go see Designs by Rose? That's the same budget I have and I am getting 7bm bouquets, my bo-k, 3 corsages, 6 bout., 5 low cp and 5 high cps. for that price. Check her out. She really worked with me. I don't have a ton of flowers either.

Re: $1500
Hi ladies, My suggestion is to go with silk flowers. They are not actually silk, but that is what they are called. They are just as beautiful and real, less expensive, and you get to keep them! I love the idea of keeping my flowers, and that my centerpieces could be keepsakes, instead of paying for all those lowers and then having them just die.
I am doing either all, or mostly silk. If anyone wants a website let me know, i found two that looked really good but I think florists all do them as well.

Re: $1500
I'm paying $90 for each BM bouquet and $225 for mine so in your case that is already about $700 just in bouquets. My CPs are $150 each (pics in my album) but they are huge. So if you get CPs that are $150 each, you're over budget already just with that! Not saying it's not a realistic budget, but you definitely will get a lot less flowers. Try B U R T O N S - i think they do high CPs for $100 each. I went with Flowers by Brian. HTH!

I agree with with the silk flowers. I made the church flowers for my daughter's wedding and they came out gorgeous, you can see pics in my album.

I think it's possible but it is going to be tough! You may also want to meet with Flower Barn. They quoted me 1800 for
12 low centerpeice my bo-k and a toss bo-k 6 bm bo-k 6 groomsman 2 dads 2 moms flower girl
1 high centerpiece for walk in area
And this was adding flowers in like rannunculus. FH and I have not booked with them yet but are considering.

Re: $1500
Hey Gabby! A quote will depend on a specific rose/ flower – size of the arrangement and rentals if any. The price also drastically increases depending on highs or lows and number of tables. I think your budget may be idealistic and you’ll have to meet the right vendor to make it realistic. I met with 5 very budget friendly florists – I’ll send you a more detailed Fm. I personally booked with Flowers by Gina – She has amazing attention to detail and will try to work with what you envision regarding your budget but she delivers bang for your buck. Also willing to make sample. If you want the wow factor – she is top notch. B*urtons - All inclusive pricing – Very little to negotiate on bc they pretty much rested on the competitiveness of their quote i.e. low pricing for quantity. Flower Barn – Budget friendly (the initial quote changed drastically when asked who else we were meeting with) i.e. competitive pricing Hidden Essence (Michelle) Super friendly and willing to construct a sample. Very Budget friendly especially if you tell her what you’re working with. She will most definatley work with your vision – she seemed to really tailor to the wants and needs of the couple regarding vision and budget. Verbana Designs – I have no doubt – whatever you book will look spectacular – she was very conscious of cost and suggested flowers that could suit our budget – very realistic pricing but may be a slightly above average in comparison to competitive pricing shops. Keep shopping around and don’t let a vendor tell you otherwise. I didn’t get to meet with the following bc I fell in love with the sample Gina constructed but I’ve heard that Wicks Florist in Baldwin and Designs by Rose are very very budget friendly so I think they are definatley worth checking out. Hope this helps!!
