I think what really brings the price up is those escort table trees and the extras like that. They are very costly. And branchy centerpieces aren't nearly as cheap through a florist as I feel like they should be.
Im making my centerpieces....so that cuts out a lot i think...........that seems to be where a majority of the costs come in!
Hi I feel this is definitely way over priced. But I am not sure what type of centerpieces you are doing. I am having a wedding of 80 people so I have 9 tables. I am getting my cascading bouquet with 4 different color roses, fuscia peonies and light pink tulips, my bridesmaids is the same as mine but smaller. I am also getting a throwaway. Then I am getting the 9 centerpieces with rose petals thrown all around them in all the colors of my bq roses. Then I have an additional 3 bm bqs, 2 jr.bm bqs, 2 baskets of rose petals, grooms bout, bm bout, 3 groomsman bouts, 1 father bout, 2 mother crosages for a total of $690.00.

My florist is Floyd Harbour Florist. She does beautiful arrangements. She pays impeccable attention to detail. She is very talented. She has been in business forever. I have only gone there a handful of times, but everytime I have been there, I have always been impressed. Other then the few times that I have gone to her, I also go to Le Anne's, but I feel she is way over priced for the same quality if not less. I ultimately decided to go with Noreen from Floyd Harbour instead because I picked up a copy of the Long Island Bride to be mag at the grocery store and she has an advertisement in there for a package. The wedding package is $449. It includes the brides bq, moh bq, 3 bm bq's, 2 mother corsages, 2 grandmother, 1 groom bout, bm bout, 3 usher/groomsmen, 2 father bouts and 2 grandfather bouts. The little extra I spent was just for the centerpieces. I don't have any living grandparents or my father anymore so she just adjusted the package to me to include my 2 jr bridesmaids, and the rose petals for the 2 flower girl baskets at no additional charge. The price was for any type of flowers and any style bqs. Plus when I 1st went in to ask her about the package she was sooo nice. The #'s for there are 800-399-3424 or 631-399-4023 or 631-399-4026.
it's a little low but may be realistic if you go to a local florist
my brother is spending that much and he has all low centerpieces.....mine is double the price w/ the high centerpeices
