Um WHAT!?
How the hell did she have triples twice in 2 years!! And how does a 15 yr old girl get along with having 4 kids and then adding another 3 a year later??!!!
W T F! I mean seriously that mother of the 17 yr old should have her tubes tied or something. Serioulsy that is sad hse is done having kids (hopefully) at the age of 17!
oh and the best is that they were already given Land and they built them a home for free.. and the mother says she is going to look for more help from the govt so ridiuclous!!
its like the same crap that goes on here in the US.. and it pisses me off!!!!
that PISSES me off! My mom had triplets (2 boys and a girl) when I was 9 and my little sister was 4. My parents got no financial help whatsoever! They bust their *** everyday to give us everything we want and need and thats exactly what that girl should be doing. Not recieving handouts.
Exactly...my mom has 7 kids!!! What can she ask for some help from the govt like to build a house NO! SO this mother should be working her butt off now that she wanted to have 7 kids because obviously she wasnt protecting herself. And she should provide them with what they need!!!

I feel so bad for the girl.. she is from a remote area.. and I saw a documentary which said that in some remote areas in South America, when girls don't have children by 16 or 17, they're considered as unwanted by men because she's not attractive or they say that she's not a 'real' woman as she has not borne any children..
1 child when you are 15 is crazy in itself... and now 6.. i feel terrible..
Oh, my, very sad!!!! Mary MOB

A little different of a reaction that most of you. Coming from a South American country, I can honestly say that the opportunities for education, job, etc, doesn't exist in other countries. I think sometimes we're blindsighted by the fact that we have it so good in America and are quick to judge others in other parts of the world w/out first realizing what their social economic status may be. Granted that the mother may look for help from the govt...but should she have gotten an abortion and killed 3 lives instead? What would you do? I think those children are a blessing (17 years old or not)...and again, coming from one of those countries, the average age for a girl to get married is between the ages of 16 and 19. Anything older and they are considered no good. Maybe she's married or maybe she isn't, but by the age of 20 my grandmother had 9 children. Ladies, please have an open mind and don't be too quick to judge.

Some Argentines are arguing that perhaps what Pamela needs is more advice on contraception.
Um, no kidding!!!!! How about abstinence!

thats understandable but if the girl had known about contraception she wouldnt be bringing 7+ kids into a country that may have a struggling economy. i would rather not have children, blessing or not, than to bring them into a world where i am unable to support them. it may be normal in that country but im not from there so that is just my opinion. i would also say the same thing for young female americans that keep having kids while in their teens.

not to justify what pamela is doing or did.. but she's uneducated and so is her mom.. the mother cannot impart the whole abstinence idea, because she herself is most likely no aware of it..
the same goes with teens here..

I hear ya. I guess there are 2 ways of looking at it. I guess my way of looking at it has to do with seeing this type of situation first hand and knowing what it's like to live in those countries. Secondly, I dont think she ever imagined or predicted that she would have gotten preggo with triplets yet again. That is something that just happened... Sadly, this goes on in many countries around the world, Africa, Middle East, etc, we just dont hear about it. I'm sure she made the news b/c of her 2 consecutive triplets, otherwise we would have never known. But trust me there are many of these situations where teenagers are popping out babies year after year. Again, some does not have the opportunity to be educated to know what their choices are. Perhaps, instead of the gov't providing for mothers like these, they should fund programs with huge advertisements on contraceptions.
