The 1.7 million USD dress designed by Japanese designer Keiji Tagawa is made of 1,250 platinum beads along with more than 3,000 other jewels including pearls, aquamarines, moonstones and crystals....

IMHO, that dress is fugly!!! But I know, somewhere there is a bride who thinks it is stunning and will be heartbroken when she sees the price tag. To that bride - no put down/insult intended.

sorry, but I think thats ugly. If I had 1.7 million dollars to spend on a wedding dress, it wouldn't look like that.

yeah it kind of looks like tapestry or something...ugly tapestry! haha...ok yes everyone has different taste and it could be gorgeous to someone...but i wouldn't wear it for free, let alone 1.7 mill!!

It's not that bad if you took off those sleeves and made it strapless. A little busy for my taste, but not bad. With the sleeves, now that's another story!
