Okay so... i have a commitment letter with the board of ed and i've applied to over 100 schools with no phone calls... But thanks to SweetCin704 i have an interview with her old school at 3:30 today!!! This is my first real interview and I am freaking out!!!!!!!

I graduated last December. I'm not sure what district the school is in. It was in Jamaica Queens.
Good luck. I sent in my resume as well but didn't even get a call :(

Keep your fingers crossed. Something will come up. I am going into my 6th year teaching and its awesome! It's hard at first but once you are in it's great. FM me if you have any other questions or want to chat about teacher stuff.

Thanks soo much... I am sure i will be buggin all you teachers with threads teacher related while i am stressing out.. FH doesnt understand that these boards are more than wedding related.... its soo nice to come here and vent about anything.. It feels like you have so many friends here that always understand you.

I am a teacher and I totally understand. Be optimistic...they said they would call you by the end of the week, they probably have more interviews scheduled, and if they liked you they have to refer you to the superintendent. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Megan!

Yikes! Im student teaching next week! I hope there are jobs out there when Im done! What grade do you guys teach? Im gonna be a high school bio teacher- everyone says theres a huge need...but then you hear stuff like this. Its scary!
