I had my first makeup trial on Friday night. I just went to the Lancome counter and that lady said she would come to my house and do it. I am just not sure if I really liked it. She would only charge me $35 each to do mine and the other girls. I don't think I really like the colors especially for my fall wedding. Any suggestions????

the price is definitely good, but imho it's too much makeup on you. You don't need all that makeup and I think the colors are too dark for your skin tone. Was it an older woman who did the makeup? I have found that older women at makeup counters usually do makeup in heavy dark colors.
ETA: I like the color of the lipstick

That is definetly a great price!!! I like the lip color, but in my opinion the blush should be toned down a little and the colors for your eyes should also be toned down or maybe more earth tones.

If you are not happy, keep looking. Is there a Mac counter? I hear a lot of girls here say they like their work.

I have hear that too but there isn't one that close to me. I don't know if I went to one and liked the person if they would agree to come to my Mom's house the day of or not.

okay im in agreement with the blush being a bit bold. Also, you have such such beautiful eyes, but either the style or color of makeup seems you look older. Maybe something a bit softer with more fresh/clean colors? Overall very pretty though

I agree with everyone- I love the eyes... maybe instead of a real blush use a bronzing powder on your cheeks... it will give you a more natural color rather than a pink rose look.

I think you would look prettier with much less make up on. Even the eyes. They are pretty, but I think your eyes are naturally so pretty, pretty enough to not need so much make up.

I am not sure if you wear a lot of make-up ( I don't), but you have such nice eyes. Maybe they can play them up a bit?????/ it was hard for me to get used to it.
I know what you mean about not feeling it is the right color for a fall wedding, but the bride is supposed to be in pink supposedly becasue of the pics.
That is what I was told.
Your BMs can be different.
It's your day and can wear it any way you want though.

I'm not a fan. If you are looking for a natural look I don't think this is it. The price is great, but I would ask her to go easier on the blush, and eyeshadow. I do like the lipstick. NO matter what you'll look great!
