Yikes! I'm so sorry. Even though you want it fixed for free, maybe you should go somewhere else where the quality of work will be better. Good luck!
The same thing happened to me. 2 braggets fell out in December. FH returned it to the jeweler to get fixed and we didn't pay for it. We got the ring back in 3daysI want to get it insured but I am being told I can only insure it under a mortage, but we don't own a house.

you can insure it by getting renter's insurance. if you don't rent either, there are other ways of getting it insured. do a search on the boards for this topic... i know there've been a ton of posts about this.
