2 firefighter killed, 4 others in critical condition

The news just updated the story - 2 firefighters were killed this morning in the Bronx - it's unbelievable what these men do for us - God bless them and their families!

my DH is taking it kinda rough...he was just thinking how lucky he is to have gotten home this morning to his family....how tragic for those families...my thoughts and prayers are with them.

They died? When I first saw the story they were both injured but alive. How terrible.

My Brother in-law is a city Firefighter. This is what we have to worry about all the time when he's at work.

how do ya think I feel whenever my DH walks out the door....
the realization that it could happen gives me panic attacks...scary...

Oh no! My prayers are definately with them an dthose involved. Firefighters are amazing and courageous and I admire them so very much.

MrsErod...thank God your husband was safe!!! I didnt know he was a firefighter!!! God bless him! I love firefighters! They are so brave..and not to mention soo cute!

My DH too. He's a FDNY Lieutenant and is so upset over it. My heart goes out to them and their poor families. I cant even imagine...dont want to imagine what they must be going through.

Thank God my DH (and all the other Firefighters) is home safe and sound.

my husband is a New York City firefighter too - and he's really upset - I just kissed him goodbye - he's headed to work for tonight. I hope it's a quiet night!
