The news just updated the story - 2 firefighters were killed this morning in the Bronx - it's unbelievable what these men do for us - God bless them and their families!

I just read that the brother of one of the injured firefighters was killed on September 11th. I pray that God doesn't take another member of that family and that he'll recover....

The 3rd firefighter that got killed was in East New York. That's right where DH works. This is soo sad. What is going on??

This had made me so sad. I heard that they all jumped (6 of them) from a forth story window because it was so bad.....how bad could it of been....every single one of these guys are my hero...

It's uncommon bravery and sacrifice like theirs that puts everything in perspective. God bless them and their families.

This is so sad :( My FH is a firefighter in Manhattan Ladder 15, South Street. He was working when it happened and now isnt coming home. Hes going to pay his respects and then go visit the critical. This is just so sad :( I dont know how our firefighters are able to deal with this. I think my FH is going to be a wreck :(
