2 friends wedding on the same day!!

2 friends wedding on the same day!!

So, my best friend is getting married 7/3/08 (5 weeks after me). I just found out today that FH friend (who he is asking to be in our bridal party) just set his date for his wedding and guess what...same day as my BF. This sux.... I feel so bad not being able to go to his wedding, especially since he is probably going to be in our BP. Should FH go to his friends wedding? It would suck if he wasn't with me, and my BF and her FH woud be upset that he isn't there and it would suck if he misses his good friends wedding. AHHHH HELP

Why don't you see if you could try and go to both. My friend has the same problem. One wedding is in the afternoon and the other wedding is at night.

This is tough

maybe you can split you time.... it would be LUCKY if they had them at the same place!

That's really tough. Are they both at the same time??? Is fh going to be in his bridal party? If so he definitely has to go. Maybe if the ceremony is a different times you can go to both. Unfortunately you can't split yourself in half.
I would attend my friend's wedding and have fh attend his friend's wedding so neither of them get offended.

this happend to me a few years ago-
my fh's bf planned a wedding on long island then a few weeks later my sister decides she wants to get married in the bahamas on the same day. so the only fair thing to do was i went to the bahamas and FH (he was in the BP) went to his friends wedding.

Unfortunately, both weddings are in the evening at different places. I definitely can not attend his friends because I'm in the BP for my best friend. So I guess the question is (assuming that he will not be in his friends BP) does he come with me or go to his friends?

I have no clue if he will be in the BP. It would totally suck, especially since it 's just 5 weeks after our wedding and it would be nice to go to my BF's wedding as husband and wife and not solo. I have to talk to Scott about it again. You know how guys are....I never get straight answers.

you could split up and each go to one. I think they would understand and be happy that one of you were there for them.

I know it owould stink to be without your new husband.. but like i said your friends would really appreciate it.. esp if one of them is going to be in your BP
