2 Honeymoons??????

Is anyone out there getting married and having two honeymoons?

We planned on going to Europe on a cruise for our honeymoon, but realized it would be too cold for site seeing.

We are thinking of going to Disney for a few days for our actual honeymoon and then going to Europe on the cruise sometime in July.

Anyone else thinking of doing something like this?

i am actually... were getting married in june and we were thinking about a tahiti cruise but it doesnt run the time were getting married.. so we may do a short trip somewhere right after the wedding then go there when we can or just fly to tahiti when we can afford to!

ok good!

Thought i was sounding 'spoiled' or something LOL

Disney can be pricey but we have until July and hopefully some wedding money left for the cruise.

Plus, my family wants to go to Europe so it may become a family trip which are always fun!

Yes, we are going somewhere more low key after the wedding, maybe myrtle beach, or something more local.

then on our one year anniversary we will go to Aruba or some type of beautiful beach to renew our vows on the sand destination wedding style......

we havent decided yet.. fh would rather just go to sandals or something like that which would be GREAT but i think we deserve something spectacular like tahiti so... when i talked to him he said maybe something for a 4 day weekend then head to tahiti either when we can get the cruise or wait a year and go for our one year! ...either way im happy!

we had toyed with the idea of going on a weekend trip and then waiting to go to italy when it gets warmer....but i really didnt want to wait at all. so....we decided to just go to italy right away. it will still be nice weather (like jacket wearing weather), just not really warm yet.

im doing 2 kind of..

since FH has never been to NYC..only to LI 3 times..we will stay in NYC for a week after the wedding and do all the cheezy tourists stuff..see a play and all that

then in april..were doing a 21day alaskan cruise when it hits season for them

we migh do this as well depending on the $$ if we dont have enough for jamaica we are gonna go to the poconos for now then go a few months later. we can use the wedding $$ most likely! and just book that week. We will see!

we might.

when we booked with floral terrace they give you that package for the hotel in greece but we cant use it in november..but we have a year to use it from our wedding date. we may go on our honeymoon in november and use greece as another trip

we are - I chose Sandals and FH chose Key West BUT January is not hot enough in Key West for me. So right after the wedding we are doing 7 nights at the Sandals St Lucia Grande.

and then in March of 09 we are driving down to Key West with our dog and staying in these little cottages that have kitchens and stuff. . . i think i may be more excited about this part but shhh dont tell FH LOL

We got engaged in Disney World so it would only seem appropriate! FH wanted to wear those micky and minnie wedding hats down there, but i told him thats for when you get married so that he would have to wait! LOL

Plus, my mother said that having the two honeymoons, would give us something to look forward to. All that planning and then to have everything over in a week would just seem like a blurr.

So i think Disney for mini-honeymoon and then during the summer we hit Europe!

we are going on 2 HM. My FH is a teacher and they split his spring break up next year so he has 5 days off the week after the wedding in march and a week and a half in april. So we are going to his uncle's condo in florida for the week in march then St. Lucia for 10 days in April.
