2 MOH

anyone else having two maid of honors? my FH said he wants to best men because he has two best friends, which is fine because i do as well. i was wondering if anyone else has or is planning on having two maid of honors, how many brides maids they're having besides? i dont want to have just one brides maid besides the 2 MOH because then its kind of rude imo.

I was going to do that but I think two Best mans and two bridesmands is alot. JMO. Think about it. Two more of everything. It could work out really well tho. HTH.

I know how you feel my FH has 2 bestmen and so I decided I will have 2 MOH 2 very close friends to me that I wanted to share everything with them its your wedding have it the way you want it to be

i just dont know how many girls i should have besides that. i think 2-3 should be fine, we dont want a huge wedding party, but i feel like any less than that would make the brides maid feel like she's not as good as the two asked to be MOHs

FH's cousin has 2 best men b/c all 3 grew up together. his wife had 1 MOH and the rest were BMs.

We currently have:

1 MOH
4 BMs

2 BMs
3 GMs

1 have one sis (MOH) and FH has 2 brothers and didn't want to choose between them.

I toyed with the idea of bumping one of my BMs up to co-MOH since she's been so insanely involved and helpful above and beyond anyone else, but I think I'm going to leave her as a BM because it might start drama with my other friends. It's hard to argue with just having siblings as MOH/BM.

Our count is still 'even' 5/5 but I'm considering adding an add'l bridesmaid so we'll see..

Edit: as long as you have more bridesmaids than maid of honors I think you're OK

I have on MOH and one Matron of Honor. My best friend for 17 years is my Matron of Honor and my 11 year old daughter is my maid of honor

There are two BM's, two flower girls and a ring bearer.

There is one best man and we are not having groomsmen.

I understand how your feel I have 5 girls I really wanted in my wedding party and as the groom added so I started adding in good friends to keep it at an even amount I really want to keep it small but it expanded to 8 so now I have a large party the whole process is so confussing

I have 2 MOHs. They're twins, and we've been friends since pre-k, so there was no way I could choose just 1. FH is having 1 Best Man - his brother (he has 3 brothers, but they basically traded off on being Best Man at each others wedding so it worked out nicely).

As for BMs, excluding the MOHs, I have 10!!! And for GM, excluding the Best Man, he has 12!!! And then I have 2 FGs, and he has 2 RBs. So we have a huge party. Everyone tells us we're crazy, but I'm like it's my wedding, these are my closest friends and I've been in many of their weddings so I want them in mine, so the more the merrier!

You can totally do the 2 MOHs, or even just 1 if you want. And you really don't need to have a certain # of bridesmaids if you're having 2 MOHs. Basically, go with what makes you feel comfortable and happy!

I have 2 MOH's because I just couldn't choose over a year ago (I could choose now!) I have 5 other bridesmaids.

Yes, i have my sister who is my maid of honor and then my best friend who is my matron of honor, since she is married she is considered my matron

i'm in the same situation as you. I am having two MOH my two cousins they are sisters and I just could not choose between them. But, I only have one other person in my wedding party my FH's sister who is wonderful and such a help in the wedding process, but three MOH is just ridiculous so I am sticking to my family for the MOH position and my FH's sister is a bridesmaid even though i think of all of them as equals. My FH has one BM his twin brother.

I am having my 2 sisters as MOH and 1 BM. FH is have 1 Best Man and 2 GM.

I dont think it matters! Do what you want and what makes you happy!

I am having 2 MOH and he is only having 1 BM. I have my 2 MOH and one bridesmaid. I didnt want a huge bridal party and I dont have any sisters so I couldnt decide between my 2 Best Friends.
