I had a Matron of Honor and a Maid of Honor, and then 5 Bridesmaids. DH only had one Best Man, and then 6 Groomsmen.
It worked out very well - there was no way I could choose between my two favorite girls, so after much thought, I decided to just have two MOHs.

i had two--- my two sisters, how do you choose?
DH only had one best man... 4 groomsmen and i had 3 other BM's... so a total of 5 on each side.

I have two MOH and two best men - I have 2 sisters and FH has 2 brothers so there's no way we could have picked one over the other

IF one of them is married, then she's your matred of honor....good luck, It really shouldn't matter what they are call as long as they get to share in your special day.

Yes I had my older sister who was my matron of honor since she is married and then my best friend who was my maid of honor
ETA: DH had 2 best men.

I'm having 2 MOH's and 5 BM's & 1 BM, 5 GM, and a ring bearer. Its a little unconventional but it works for us. If you're only having 3 girls in your wedding party I would only have 1 MOH but othrwise 2 is great.

There is no rule about how many you can have. I had a friend that couldn't choose between her two sisters and had them both as MOHs. She did however had a large bridal party, 10 girls in total.
it would seem kind of weird to have two MOH if the thrid girl is just a bridesmaid. you can always just have one MOH while your Fh has two best mans, you don't need to match everything up.

I wanted to have my sister and best friend. My sister threw a hissy fit and so b/f backed out.
B/F is a bigger person than my sister and had graciously accepted DOC and will make sure my day is one that will be stress free!
