2 MOH-need advice

so i have 2 sisters
one that lives here and another that lives out of state. to make a very long story short she is kinda flakey she says she is going to come in and never shows up -

now i have to ask her to be in the bp because she is my sister and all but im kinda scared that she may pull that crap again saying she is going to be in it and then does not show..
then the day comes and i am short a girl

so my mom and dad came up with an idea
i would ask her to be my 2nd MOH(but like a fake lol)

this way if she doesnt show up i have my other sister there anyway who is my real moh. and she won't make the bp short a girl if she does not show up

Well.....I think its a good idea if you WANT her to be your other MOH. Some girls take their 'roles' in the bp very seriously and as MOH she may just shock you and step up to the plate, and then keep overstepping it. Your MOH is a girl that you want standing next to you through the whole thing, from beginning to end and if you want her there, well then thats wonderful. But if not, its no problem having one more boy than girl, our bp is not the same number on both sides and it'll work itself out either way

she did come to my engagement party
so maybe who knows

sounds good to me. Have one sister as your maid of honor and the other as your 'matron' of honor. Then if she doesnt show up your short a matron, no big deal!!

I think you should definately do that.

If she takes the role seriously, than she will help your other sister. If not, she'll probably just show up to the wedding, and won't be offended that you didn't include her.

I think having 2 MOH is a great idea!
