2 Photographers or 2 Videographers?

If you had to choose between having 2 photographers or 2 videographers, which would you pick? Asking for my friend. She can't afford to have a 2-person crew for both. Thanks!

I think I'd say video. I feel video is so important in capturing people, their voices, and personality. You don't know who won't be here when and this gives you that memory of them. I think if you can afford 2 videographers, then go for it!

I actually think photography. I wish I could have a 2nd one. The first photographer can get all the traditional shots, while the second photographer can get those still life and candid shots. When you have one photographer, they have to do all that by themselves.

2 Photographers hands down. Just like okellies said, the 1st photographer gets all the traditional must-have shots and the 2nd does all the candid photojournalistic work. If you're looking for purely traditional photos, then you could stick to one photographer. We're having 2 photographers and a lighting assistant and one videographer.

Definitely photogs! 30+ years later, photography will still be there. Who knows what's coming after DVD? Also, it's so nice to be able to display photos...can't really do that with video.

Photographers! To me the photos are what it's all about and what I will continually pull out to remember the day. Everyone has different preferences though, but I think two photographers really gives the best opportunity to catch the most important moments of the day.

photo for sure! especially if your friend is having a large wedding… I think it's easier to get away with 1 video person…

i would actually like to have one of each and if I needed to add a second of one of them I think I would have a hard time deciding. but I think I would pick mayb a upgraded video instead of a 2nd videographer and get the cinematography instead, that's like watching a your self on the big screen!

Second photographer all the way! We are having family video the parts we want filmed because we definitely wanted two photographers.
