Ok...I may of 2 pregnant BM's by the time my wedding arrives. My friend wants to have a baby as well as my sister. I was talking to my friend on the phone last night and she was making jokes how it would be so funny if I and your sister are pregnant for your wedding. Of course I am extremely happy for them. I just feel kind of unhappy about it. Does that sound mean? I really don't want to be mean or nasty about it. My friend said if all goes well she can have a baby before my wedding even arrives. I didn't tell her I was unhappy or anything. I just feel like that. Now I'm trying to think what kind of dresses to get for pregnant women. Am I being mean?

You really can't do or say anything about it so don't let it bother you. Just be happy for them. As for the BM dresses there are so many to choose from. Mostly chiffon would be great. Here are a few I think might work. And don't worry.
Are they only made to be worn by pregnant women? Because it doesn't look like it. Who makes them? Soooo Pretty!!!!

No they actually aren't specifically made for pregnant girls but they would definitely work for them. Chiffon looks great on pregnant girls b/c it's flowy. Also you would want to make sure that if the dress tapers anywhere it is under the chest. I found them all on the knot. I'll tell ya in a sec who makes them.

If you're interested Eden Maids makes dresses specifically for pregnant BMs.
i dont think you are mean...but a pregnant bm doesn't mean she isn't going to fully participate in your shower, your b-party or your wedding.
i really wouldn't care...and i would tell their baby someday that they were apart of my wedding too!

I think you can't stress out over something you have no control over. Just b/c two of your BMs might be planning on getting doesn't mean that there might be other surprises with BM who weren't planning on getting pregnant. If it happens that they are pregnant then i'm sure you can find a dress that they will feel comfortable in.

i say go with whatever dress you want and have them just keep in mind and order it like 2 sizes bigger. thats what my bms are doing....
i understand...but having babies is also important to them...so it would be kinda harsh to be upset when thats the situation..BUT ...i understand

I don't see why people get at ALL upset when they have pregnant BM's. Be happy fr them, it's sucha joyous thing. Life doens't stop b/c we're getting married. Also it's cool, think of it this way, the little unborn bambino/a will be in all your wedding pics..and their mommy can show them 'look..you were in my belly' SO cute!

Be happy for them! They can't arrange their lives around your wedding! If they are preggo, you can get dresses altered for them!

My one friend is getting married this August and I pray that she can get pregnant quickly! If she's 3 months or 8 months along, no matter to me.. as long as she's healthy! I picked a dress that I think will be ok if she is pregnant... if not, we'll deal with it then

I understand and of course I am EXTREMELY happy if they get pregnant. One is a very close friend to me and the other is my sister so I would be an aunt. I also understand they can't stop living their own lives just because I am getting married.
So if it happens it happens. I didn't mean to sound nasty when I posted this thread. I guess it was just on my mind so I wanted to share.

i dont think your feelings are wrong..you cant help the way you feel..and if you are alittle unhappy its ok,... BUT remember the true reason why you chose them as your BM's ...It is a happy time and they will add to it..think..your neice or nephew could 'BE' at your wedding...
