1) My wedding is 10/11, my RSVP date is 9/1. When should I mail my invites? Its it a faux pas to mail them out TOO early?
2) What type of place cards do you think I should put in these? Plain? Colored? A shape of some sort?

Send out your invites no more than 10 weeks prior no less than 8 weeks. Cute place card holders - go with ivory card.

1 - I say mail mid-July 2 - I think pain white...the squirrel is soo adorble.

I would send them out the end of July - I also would say something plain or just a small graphic in the left corner since you don't want to take away from that really cute squirrel!
