2 Questions re: hotel and hotel hospitality hour . . .

We do not have OOT guests, but are blocking off rooms for those that might not want to drive after the wedding. Are we supposed to treat the guests that stayed to breakfast in the morning?

also, the hotel we are staying at will do a hospitality room for us if we need to, since we have a 3:00 ceremony and a 6:00 reception.

Should we serve food and drinks or just drinks?

Should we serve alcohol or just coffee, tea, soda, water?

I don't want to seem like a cheapskate, but I am not sure what to do, since I don't want to spoil their appetites, and since there will be plenty of alcohol at the wedding . . .

TIA

I am probably going to do the same thing.

I plan on doing the breakfast/brunch. I think it is an expected courtesy and if you do it buffet style it will be cheaper than sit down/order what you want.

The hotel can probably work something out for you. I don't remember what hotel it was, but one of them gives your guests breakfast coupons so you just have to pay for the people who actually ate the breakfast instead of planning a breakfast for 30, when only 15 show up.

As far as the hospitality hours goes, I do not plan on offering alcohol. #1 -the expense, #2 - I don't want them drunk upon arrival at the reception, #3 - they can drink al they want at the reception!!
