2 Years Ago Today...

Okay its kind of long, but here is my engagement story:

Justin was only 4 months old. And looked absolutely adorable in his white satin tuxedo. Both sides (mine and Nicks) were at his Mom's house for a brunch before the ceremony at St. Philips and James Church in St James, then we had a huge party planned to follow at Danfords in Port Jeff. I had my outfit picked out for a while and serached high and low to find jewelry to match it. I finally found a ring, necklace, and earrings.

I was sitting in the den feeding Justin a bottle, when Nick came and sat next to me. He commented on my earrings, and necklace and asked to see the ring closer. He took it off my finger and was looking at it. When he put it back on my finger, I wasn't really paying him to much attention b/c I was staring at my beautiful son. He said I really like the ring, I just replied thank you. Then he said I think there is a spot on it. Only then did I look down and see he replaced it with my engagement ring. When I looked up he was down on one knee and asked. Of course I said yes and ran inside to tell the parents who were eavesdropping at the door!!!

The rest is history.
