200 ppl

200 ppl

so we would like to keep our numbers to 200... we have guaranteed that many and would really not like to go over by too much.... I know there's no rule or guarantee, but how many ppl do you think we will be safe inviting??? we have a b list but it's not very big. I'm not sure how to deal with this...

I thought we were good until we talked with FMIL and FH started remembering friends... (some of whom I agree with!!!) we were at 208 or 211 and now it's at 246. I think we need to CUT!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I'd really go over like 230. Maybe you can have a b-list?

I was going to say 240. you don't want to be under, either. people always have stuff going on that u don't know about which will make them a 'no' when u think they'll be a 'yes' (like my neighbor growing up had already booked a vacation to south america when my STD's went out)

Before sending out my own invites, I would've probably said 240, but we have gotten THREE no's so far! Only three!!! And 47 yes's!! Granted, there is still half of the invites left to go (and a week and a half until the rsvp date!), but geez my stomach turns thinking about how much over our minimum we are going to be and how much extra $$ we're gonna have to pay!

it really depends how many people you have that are OOT and it depends on some other factors.

we guaranteed 175. We sent out 254 and it looks like we are coming in right under our minimum (about 172 or so) but we are still missing a few.

we had a lot of OOT ppl so we got a lot of knows based on that.

I think you need a B list. I've gotten only yes responses so far.... but I have invites ready to go out if I fail to meet my minimum.

I'm so bad at guessing these kind of things!
