Just curious who is getting married in 05, since I was the only one for a long time! It seems there's more and more lately!

I have started getting ideas as to what kind of dress I want, but I don't want to jump on anything just yet. Only because I know myself I'll get a dress that seems to be 'the one' and then I'll change my mind or something (I've done it with every major occasion dress, (Sweet 16, Prom, etc.)...I have no problem shopping around though

I haven't yet but I'm in April. Attica, you're in January so you can start looking soon, I think it's too early for me. Maybe January for me? Ugh. I can't wait!! This 2005 thing is torture sometimes!
Though I'm worried that some of the styles of dress that are out now, that I like, may not be around when it's time for me to go dress shopping Does anyone know how that works with bridal gowns? I know BM dresses get discontinued all the time...

Hi girls! Sorry it took me so long but we finally booked the hall this weekend!! Its July 15th, 2005 at The Inn at East Wind!! I am so excited now it feels real even tho its 2 years away (actually alittle less) I can't wait to start trying on dresses!!

I am getting married in 2005. We originally were going to do it in 2004 but it is an election year and I work for a cognressman so it will be very busy for me. So we pushed it back. I have not done anything yet like bookings etc. I have a list and thats about it! I am thinking May.

It does feel good to have this off the list....we are so happy we booked with Duet... their work (from what I've seen) looks incredible and the best part is that they were very reasonably priced (imo). Definitely worth a look to all who haven't booked photo/video yet. While we're on the topic of weddings have any of you girls decided on color schemes? We're getting married in April and though I have some ideas, I haven't come to any solid decision. Any color suggestions for a spring wedding?? Thanks girls

I'm tossing around a few ideas as well. I'm getting married in June and I've come up with Victorian Lilac/Silver and light pink as an accent color and Cherubs & Roses for the theme. Although I know myself, I'll change my mind a million times and resort back to what I originally came up with The only thing that will stick is the Cherubs & Roses theme.

Hi girls, I think FH and I found 'the band' last night. They played great - we just need to hear the other singer that they have because they wont gurantee the one we heard. I cant wait to book!
I havent really decided on a color scheme yet. I am getting married in Jan, but I dont want to be confined to what colors i choose just because it is winter and not summer. I am having a pear wedding theme so the BM dresses will most likely be a light green (celadon or green apple) color. Our invites may be ivory - so i guess celedon and ivory? Dont know yet htough because I was thinking of having the pink/purple dendrobrium orchids for the BM bouquets.

I am having a hard time with the color scheme. I am pretty sure that we're doing a Cinderella themed wedding. I'm not really sure what colors I want the girls to wear. I would love to have gardenias incorproated into the centerpieces, so thats white and green. I was thinking of maybe having the girls wearing a sage color, though I also like lavander. I have to think about what would look best on the BM's. Some are pale and some are tan. Hmmm, its gonna be a tough one.

Oh, as for the color scheme. Hmm, NO idea about bridesmaid's dresses, maybe a nice lilac or black. Don't know. But as for the colors of the linens and centerpieces, etc..we're doing all white with gold accents. Like white chair covers with gold bows, white orchids for centerpieces with some sort of gold accent. Gold boxes for the favors, etc.

Rachel, are you getting the exact orchid centerpeices as that picture? Have you looked at florists yet? Any quotes? I am so nervous about the price that we are going to be quoted especiallys ince the band that i want quoted us at $5K - prices are so INSANE!

Ok, well, about the centerpieces. I want those EXACT ones. And I kind of got a good break. Turns out though that FSIL has a good friend who is a florist, and she said she can probably get them wholesale for us! I'm going to see what she can do for us before we look anywhere else. As long as it's not completely over the top, we're going to get them. Hey,I'm not living with my parents for nothing!
