I know - the list keeps on growing! - I really dont like this business about taking about the 2004 board and joining everything on the BHB board - It is so convenient with separate boards - we really need a 2005 board!

Re: 2005 Brides.....

I am also a 2005 bride. I share my date with a few others. July 3, 2005. I am deciding tomorrow which hall I am going to go with, either Woodbury Country Club or Watermill. I am leaning towards the Watermill. They did a very thorough job of explaining their package to me, they even fed us and it was a very busy Saturday! Please let me know if you have any opinions on either of these places. Thanks!

Hey Guys!!!!
Just ordered the invitations and favors for our engagement party. I am so excited that things are starting to roll. I decided that my color will be a light blue. It will be a day wedding so I did not want anything too dramatic. I hope you are all having a great time planning!

:)

Re: 2005 Brides.....

Welcome and congrats all new 05'ers!

As for our theme/color scheme, I just came up with an interesting idea that I'm trying to flesh out - would love ANY opinions/ideas. I know I want my colors to be a peachy-pink (the color of my favorite roses and gerbera daisies), white and silver. We're getting married (99% sure) at Vineyard Caterers, but my FSIL had a vineyard theme so I don't want to make that my main theme. We plan on having roses and gerberas for flowers in our colors, but my sister had a daisy/gerbera themed wedding last May so I don't want that to be our main theme. The dilema: finding a theme that will incorporate the vineyard, our colors, our flowers, and our date and time (June 11 evening) and then it hit me - a Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm playing with all kinds of ideas from Shakespearean quotes on our invites, to table names taken from character names in the play, to lots of candles, twinkle lights, and greenery for an enchanted forest kind of feel. Plus, it seems pretty unique for a theme.

What do you all think? Does it seem too wacky? Have any ideas or suggestions you can share? I'd appreciate any help!

Re: 2005 Brides.....

Just curious how my fellow 'oh-fivers' are doing with their planning! Where are you in your planning?

And...I wanted to vent a little:

You know what bugs me? Whenever I tell someone my date they get this look on their face like something must be wrong because my date is 'so far away'. And I get the 'oh no! But why?' Like we must be unsure or something or we don't love each other enough to get married next year...

Screw you!! YOU pay for it dammit! Let's see how quick you can come up with thousands of dollars after you just bought a house (FI did)!! I don't have mummy and daddy (no offense to anyone )to pay for everything like maybe you did!! Arrggghh. That is soooo annoying!!

Anyone else get this? Anyway, aaahhhh! I feel better now! Thanks for letting me vent!
