2005 Brides.....

I'm so excited girls...I booked a makeup trial with Denise from Angel Eyes for January...some progress, right?

We chose July 3 of 05 because we fell in love with the Bourne Mansion, and I was hell bent on having a Saturday night wedding, but we would not have been able to afford a Saturday night at the Bourne, so July 3, 2005 has a Saturday night feel, but is 25 a head cheaper

Hi Girls!

I am also 2005 bride!! I was starting to feel like I was the only 'crazy' one, as everyone has told me, to begin planning my wedding....everyone thinks it's so far away but the reality is, before you know it it will be 2004 and that year will speed by! Congrats to all of you and thank goodness for this website.....it has been sooo very helpful wih absolutely everything!!

I plan on getting married in August 2005. I saw the Vanderbilt mansion yesterday and I loved it but I didn't book yet......I want to look some more - I only saw four places. Any suggestions? Vanderbilt is within my budget and I will not be having more than 120 guests. I took my sister to see it and she hated it - so know i am seconding guessing what to do....

Girls: There are 61 of us!!!! The list just keeps on getting bigger!

I've been a little down lately though - a few girls at school just got engaged (engaged after me) - and they are all getting married before me.

I know it is better because we have more time to plan and save - but still is upsetting - FH and i had changed the date form Jan 2004 to Jan 2005 during teh summer - and i keep on thinking that if we hadnt I would be getting married in two months.

I love knowing that all of you guys are 2005 TOO.. Don't we deserve a 2005 board!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DEFINITELY think we do!!! I'm sure it will come soon, at least after the new year I think.

Girls...every single day I wish my wedding was sooner than it is ...until I start to calculate the costs of this wedding...then I feel better about it being in 2005.

I am damn proud to be an 05 bride! As much as I wish it were sooner, I love that we chose a date that was good for us and didn't take and crap from anyone about it. We are a year and 8 months from our date and I don't mind one bit

I would also like to add that after tomorrow, I will officially be in the 500s on my countdown clock! I can remember when it was over 700 So things are moving, it's good to know that

i know how it feels when people get engaged after you,but get married before. two of my fh cousins got engaged a long time after us and one is getting married this month, and the other one is next november. i was upset at first, but i'm happy we have more time to save and we'll be able to afford what we want.

it goes by really quick, when i came back on this site in may, my countdown clock was at almost 1000 days and now i'm down to 713!!!
