Re: 2005 Brides.....
Thanks MrsBtoBe2005! Well, it won't be officially booked unil August 2005 because the Vanderbilt Mansion does not book more than one year in advance but the place will definately be the Vanderbilt Mansion! Congrats to you as well and all new '05 brides!!

Re: 2005 Brides.....
wow attica, that was so helpful. Thatched cotatge is one of the placs that I want to see...now I know I would have to be flexible...the original date we were looking at is booked there. :) I need a kick in the butt though, we have only seen one place. Our original goal was to book a place by the end of the yr. Anyone have suggestions for an outdoor event?? Congrats all 2005 Brides. Thanks again attica

Re: 2005 Brides.....
My fiance and I just got back from the showcase at Jericho Terrace. This was our first showcase and we were a bit overwhelmed. The bands were okay but the DJ was a little annoying.
Has anyone ever heard antything about Body Rock?

Re: 2005 Brides.....
I'm another 2005 bride new to the site. So far I've contact the church where I have been rescheduled 2x's. We will be setting a date with them for Sep, Out or Nov depending on how much a hall is going to cost me. I'm lost with booking it. I don’t want a typical reception hall more of an old mansion, beach, museum something out of the box. Who am I kidding I'll just go wherever its cheep! LOL
Any suggs for something in the $65.00-$85.00(t & g inc.)? We would go to a Fri night if we had to.
