I say it is time for a post. What planning has everyone done so far? I am feeling anxious to do more. But then i feel stressed. I know sounds weird. But I think i am getting really excited. My FI lives in New Jersey and is moving here in June so i think i am more excited about that first!!

I haven't been on in a while and I was hoping that I'd find our new 2005 board up and running. I guess we'll have to wait just a bit longer until the new year!

I'm new to the list as well and am getting married may 29, 2005...... i've only booked the hall - The Harbour Club in Huntington and the church -Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa.

I heard that I have to start looking at vendors soon though since I am getting married the sunday of a holiday weekend.

I was thinking of using Burtons as the florist - any comments?

2005 girls, does everyone realize that in a week, we can all say 'I'M GETTING MARRIED NEXT YEAR' My mother pointed that out and is very excited about it YAY US!

Im so excited to finally say im getting married in a year. Im so tired of saying a year and a half or 2005, people keep looking at me like im crazy that we bookes for 2005 already.

I know!! I cant wait to be able to say next year!!!! I'm getting married in a year and 16 days!!! Yes I am dieing to get to the 1 year mark!! Although, i have yet to do anything!! I have to do this all in the first two weeks of jan!! Including finding a dress

I do not have anything - we dont even have the church booked (although we cant book until 2004) - no dress no nothing - we know which band - just need to book - Ahhh!! I'm kinda freaked!

rachel- we booked the major vendors but i still think you have plenty of time. we booked photo,video,hall,band but havent even begun to look at dresses or hair,makeup,limo,hotels,honeymoon.

you still have plenty of time but i would get started on the vendors you have your heart set on- they are a lot of us getting married on july 3

Hey Girls, I'm Kat...Just got engaged Dec 21st...we were planning on a June 21st 2005 date. I know it's a Tues...but FH is all about the date and tell you the truth it doesn't bother me one bit! Is June really expensive even on a weekeday? I have no idea how to plan a wedding, or when to book all this stuff...what if for financial reasons we have to postpone the date a year? What happens if we already booked something? Ugh...I just don't know what to do...I need to get a planning/budget book or something. All's I know is that it will have a Hello Kitty theme, and I already have some stuff for it. I think that is giving me a false sense of security like 'ooohhh I have some stuff already...I'm in OK shape...then I see all you ladies and I feel like 'whoa' what am I getting into?

I am june 2005 bride...I've gone to the church and met with the priest and have seen about 5 halls. I was engaged on 11-21. I am finding it really hard to find a hall that I like. I know it hasn't been that long but I have also worked for a wedding photography studio for about 6 yrs. I thought that would make it easier finding a hall but it hasn't....anyone else having a tough time finding a hall????
