- I am not doing any major vendor planning because FH is taking the bar now - so Liweddings is my outlet! I love the wedding planning!! I have most of the little stuff ready...I already know everything that will be on the table, invites, favors....just havent tackled the major things...I am waiting for my MOH to finish her summer class before we go dress shopping.

Dont mean to barge in on the 05 brides.. i just wanted to let all of you know that when I went to make a payment today at my reception hall, I asked how the 04 summer was and my banquet manager told me that they do not have a sat open in 2004 until October already. I know you all are 05, but people will/already have started to book sat nights in 05 for the summer already. If you havent started looking at halls yet, DO IT! I booked my hall last July for next July and there were already people booking. Good luck ladies, and happy planning!

Thanks for being so kind! I just try to help people whenever I can. If it werent for this board (and my friend Lisa who is getting married in a few weeks), I would have been in deep sh1t! I knew nothing about how to look for vendors, ect. I found great recommendations from many brides on this board, and I even booked some of them. This is a great resource for 'inside info'. Where else can you get such good (or bad) reviews for vendors, shops, ect from so many people? Good luck planning, and feel free to FM me anytime!

I haven't checked on this post, but now that I saw it come up again, I just want to welcome the newcomers! How is everybody doing? I am STILL debating on the church (so annoying) and am not really sure which my next vendor booking will be- I have reception, Photo, and DJ . . . I guess I'll start looking at dresses next and maybe start checking out the other stuff, just not book it yet! I am getting restless-thank goodness for my E-party coming up at the end of this month. I am making my favors, so that is keeping me somewhat distracted from 'WEDDING DETAILS'

That is cute 2 July 3rd brides! Ladies book your vendors early, that is a popular day! I booked my vendors early and there were other brides who were booking for that day when I was. Good luck, at least you guys have a great start.

I am a 2005 bride now tooo. We were supposed to get married July 31, 2004 but for numerous reasons we pushed it back to July 2005. We did not pick a definite date yet. Tha t is next weeks project. You are not alone

I have not booked any vendors yet, but it's partially because I was living out of state until last week. I think I will start booking soon. The problem is we won't have any extra money to put deposits down until I get another job!

More like who we decided NOT to go with. We were ready to put a deposit down, too. I'll FM you, since I would not want to offend anyone who is using or has used this DJ. Nothing terrible, just a change in opinion.
