Hi everyone! I'm sure this post has gone up before, but I thought that for 2005 brides it might be a way to get to know each other.

I'm a High School Guidance Counselor, and I absolutely LOVE MY JOB!!!!!!
Currently I'm a Site Licensing Supervisor and Web Analyst for a publishing company but in September I'm starting my masters to be a school counselor.
katebloom99 - where do you work? I can't wait until I can say just what you said - 'I'm a high school counselor and I love my job!'
How exciting for you!! where are you going to school? I went through the program at Post. And I am currently working at Deer Park HS as a leave. But if this darn budget will pass the second time around, I will be perm in September.
Good luck, I'll be rooting for it! I've been debating between Hofstra and Queens for a while now but I think that ultimately I'll wind up at Queens. People (on this board, actually) convinced me that Queens has at least as good a rep as Hofstra in this field and since I live in Forest Hills and work in Manhattan, the commuting time to Hofstra would bring me to near death each week. But, I'm giving myself until Friday to send in my responses. Do you have any thoughts on which one is better? Any help would be really really appreciated!!
Definately Queens and its cheaper too! I got my bachelor's there and they have a great rep and good instructors.

I work in the Development office of a large social service nonprofit in Lower Manhattan. If not for my neurotic boss, I would absolutely LOVE my job. But for now, I like it a lot.

I am a program analyst for NOAA - a government agency in Washington, DC. The National Weather Service is part of NOAA, so if the weather is not good on my wedding day, I have some co-workers to complain to!
