Hi everyone! I'm sure this post has gone up before, but I thought that for 2005 brides it might be a way to get to know each other.

I'm 'almost' a licensed psychologist. Finished my Ph.D. last summer and am studying to take licensure exam in June. A long time in coming. Currently doing a post-doc in a hospital.

So, those of you who said you were working on your dissertations...Good luck!!!! You can do it!!! You're almost there!!!!

p.s. good thread. Very interesting to see what everybody does!

CONGRATULATIONS, DR. !!!! Thanks for the encouragement about the dissertation - it's so great to hear that people actually finish these things!

Your post-doc must be so challenging - I can't imagine. Everyone on this thread is so impressive!

I'm a College Admissions Counselor.

I am also a Graduate student studying for my MS in School Counseling & Development. I would like to be a Career Counselor!

I work for a physical therapy practice. I do the billing, insurance, and collecting. I love my job.

I am a Controller ....in english I am the one who pays the bills, invoices the bills, pays the workers and sometimes I even get to watch Days of Our Lives!!!!

ETA: I also do reconciliations and lots of fun spread sheets. Excel is my best friend! Anyone want to trade? Send me an FM mail, I am great with kids teachers!!

I have a degree in psychology...how far that got me..lol...right now I am a nanny for my nephew...at least his parents have good jobs, my sister is a doctor and brother in law is an investment banker for Meryl Lynch (I cant complain they do pay me very well!!!)

I hear that, I have my Masters in Education and I'm UNEMPLOYED!

I am a receptionist for a restaurant group. That pays the bills. I am an actress. That does not pay the bills (yet!)

I am a fourth grade teacher in the heart of the south bronx. I am completing my fifth year and in the process of finding a job on LI. I just completed my second masters in literacy at Hofstra University. Any of you teachers out there that know of any positions PLEASE HELP!!!
