Im a newbie!! August 27th for me. We are going to the crescant beach clun tomorrow and hopefully booking!! I have my wedding gown already! i am actually picking it up from the store tomorrow it just came in. I still need florist, dj, photographer/videographer, and rabbi

nenna023, I,m glad I'm not the only 2006 bride that has her dress already, I picked my dress up last weekend and now my moh is storing it in her house.....

Bride22BB Yay! Everyone thinks I am crazy for getting my dress, but I saw it LOVED IT! and it was such a good price I coulnt walk away without it. I will store it in my house since we don not smoke and it will be in a bag and FH promised not to peak lol

By the way, Can anyone recommend a rabbi. They have to be conservative (my FMIL demand not mine) We dont have a family one

Please dont think im rude but the truth is I am soooo tired of what everyone else thinks. Every single person i know has some bad comment on what i am doing with my wedding and it drives me nuts!! This board is the only nice place I know :)

I've been calling around for prices and it seems like the prices are so much higher for '06 in comparison to what 04 and 05 brides are paying. Has anyone booked vido/phot? If so where? I'd love a package description and price range if possible!!!

I think its great that you guys have found a dress so soon. It makes the 'things to do' list a little shorter. I dont think they are being rude...maybe jealous Nah, kidding!

I wish I could look...and I probably could but just have so much going on ex:my friends wedding next wk , that pushing things for now is ok.

I give props to the ones who have the head start. It just gives the procastinators some advice down the road when needed

I really could use this same info i would like to book all of my vendors before the end of the year.... and i am on tight budget.

Photo/Video-We are going on Wednesday to ADA Studios...They did my future brother-in-laws wedding & they were amazing...

We are trying to get everything done by 2005 comes around....

I booked photo/video back in March...I also don't care what other people's opinions are about booking early!

My total cost for both combines is $7500 which is $1500 higher thanI intended but this was the only vendor that I felt confident with and had seen proof that they are excellent.

If I remember correctly without looking my photo package is $4500 and includes a photographer and asst all day, no overtime charges and they stay until I tell them to leave. It includes an engagement shoot in their studio and an 8x10 from that shoot. Our album which will be 10x10 with 50 pics that are bound and flush to the page (no inserted into a border...the picture is the page). 2 parent albums or 8x8 or 8x10 whichever I want that has 24 pics each and are also flush to the page. I get 150 or 125 thank yous, 16 5x7's for the BP (I forced him to throw these in cause they were only giving me like 4), an 8x10 and I think maybe even an 11x14.

Video is $3000 and includes 3 dvd's with whatever I want as far as baby pics, growing up pics, guest interviews and honeymoon pics. And obviously the ceremony and reception.

i am getting married on5/28/06@chateau briand we have booked the hall, church,we have a potential dj which we will book the 3rd week of november and we are still looking at perspective florist and photographers.
is any girls having a hard time picking out a theme color and bridesmaid color for their wedding? if so, please share i'm so confused.

I booked Patken for photo. My package is about $3800 (it includes quite a lot) plus 2 engagement sessions.

For Video I am using Wild Rose Video (they are higher end price wise), but in my opinion worth every cent. We have the yellow rose package about $3300.

The vendors that I visited were showing me their prices for this current year, they did not up the price when they were told it was for a 2006 wedding. Quoting you 2006 prices defeats the purpose of booking early in my opinion.

im also having a really hard time picking colors. everyone is telling me i can get any color i want because of the month .

the colors i like are icy pink, celedan green
designer bill levkoff.

but i dont know
i want a color to look good with the season

Nice color choices...I am either using Celadon Green Or Euro Wine...I am going to let the girls decide on Tuesday Nov 9th...
