Hi '06 Brides! Congrats & Happy Planning!

I have to admit, I've been a silent reader, but am just so excited that I wanted to share the great news that WE BOOKED OUR HALL!!! - - It's at the Jericho Terrace on 04/28/06. Wheww, I feel like a lot has been lifted (My FI told me I was turning into bridezilla-I'm a bit picky). So far, I have the Hall & the Church (as of yesterday lol)

We went to so many places on LI and I just 'felt it' at JT. Any comments on Jericho Terrace would be greatly appreciated!! I see a couple of us 'JT' brides in here!! I really do love it there. We have the Garden room for CH and the Penthouse for Recep. We walked out feeling that we got a great deal - - so we were both happy!!

Congrats on booking JT! FH and I felt 'it' too. FH actually said as we pulled in the parking lot 'I like this place better already' Better than Leonards (our 2nd choice)! We have the Garden Room for CH and Dome Room for Reception. What is your minimum for the Penthouse Room? My MOH loves that room.

Hahaha sounds like you're in my boat! My fiance is Jewish so that's just not happening for us!

I'm 6/24/06 and I've only booked the hall (the ceremony is there too) I've planned the flowers already and I'm interviewing people now for that. I already bought the silk rose petals for the tables. I picked out the invites already & will be ordering soon. I'm booking the Limos next week and the DJ as soon as I'm done w/the interviews. I have all the music for the Precesional & Resecional & for when I walk down ( we're not having the typical music) + the wedding song. Brides maid's dresses + flower girl are picked out and I gave the minister a dep. I want to do as MUCH as I can now. Plus aot of vendors are booked in 2006/2007 already. Happy planning everyone

Hello girls, I am Kristen from Levittown...I am 24 (going to be 25 10/27)...I met my FH (Jason) in 1999 while we were juniors in college...We remained friends til senior year when things started to heat up....After ending a previous relationship, we started to date 7/2/01....FH works in Manhattan in sales... Jason made me the happiest girl on earth on 4/10/04 when he asked me to be his wife I thank my lucky stars everyday for finding him!

I am Jill. I am 29, turning 30 2 months from tomorrow . I met Sebastian (my FH, who turned 26 in Aug)) while we were in the Police Academy (NYPD) exactly 4 yrs ago next week. We were just friends, which grew into the greatest romance either of us has had. We officially started dating May 31, 2001, 2 days after graduating from the academy! He proposed on July 18, 2004. Oh, I live in Ozone Park and work in Plainview (no longer with NYPD), Sebastian lives in Richmond Hill and works in Queens!
