Still thinking about it but I don't think so...the parking lot is so big I don't really see a need for it

We are trying a cake from the bakery this weekend -- I will let you all know how it goes

WHen we fed it to each other it tasted fine to me.
My one friend, who I trust, said the yellow cake was a little dry.
Again, it was fine by me.
I got yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling.
I also had the viennese hour and people were really impressed with it.

My friend just got married at the Milleridge on Saturday. Everything was beautiful. They really did an amazing job. The food was great, everyone was extremely attentive to both her and her husband. It made me even more excited for July.

Greetings - I am newly engaged and am most likely going to select Milleridge Cottage for the reception hall of my Fall 2007 wedding. This is my first 'post.'

My family & fiance met with BM Debra . Have any of you 2007 brides worked with her thus far? I have read a few posts about Nadine and how great she is and I hope Debra is too! This process is nerve wracking.

Thanks!!!

Re: 2007 Milleridge Thread

I wanted to update you girls on my cake tastings! Ordered lots of cakes for the holidays!!

vanilla cake was dry. we had the chocolate mousse filling and weren't happy with it.

chocolate cake didn't really taste like chocolate (then again, we are chocaholics) so that didn't go over well.

carrot cake tasted more like a spice cake (cinnamon under-tones) but it was still good. It comes with a cream cheese filling. Although this isn't a traditional weddign cake flavor, we are leaning towards going with it because it was the only one we liked!

I think I might be the earliest Milleridge 2007 bride. I'm getting married at the Cottage on January 20th. Just under 7 weeks now!

I've been working with Nadine. She is fabulous. Whenever I email her questions, the answer always seems to be YES. Love that.
