Re: 2008 Election
IMO...i don't think she will be running..I think that would be a VERY bad choice for the democrats...I think that if the democratic party wants to have a president they need to put up a very strong candidate..
IMO Hilary is tooo much of a risk for many reasons...

Yeah, I have to agree with this. She would not be the strongest candidate, and besides, I don't think she'll run. I'd love for Guiliani to run, but I don't think he will either. He'd probably have to be governor first.

Re: 2008 Election
She would never win. All the middle states are in no way ready for a female pres, let alone a democrat.

Re: 2008 Election
Gulliani has stated several times that he is happy doing what he is doing now and has no intention of running for President. McCain will probably be in the running for the Republicans. In all honesty, I have no idea who the Democratic party will choose. I don't know if Hillary would win the canidacy(sp?), but I bet she tosses her hat into the ring. It is what she has been working for for a long time now.

Re: 2008 Election
if it's against Giuliani and Clinton, we're in big trouble. I don't like either one! I'd be voting for Nader or whatever third candidate.

And although Hilary will make an attempt, i don't see her getting far

Re: 2008 Election
what about Potaki? i dont have a strong feeliing about him running... but i feel like he's considering it. of course, this is based on nothing more than a Hunch
i'd love to see Lieberman for the democrats, but i heard his religion would play too much of a role (reason people wouldn't vote for him)... but i think he's on of the most intelligent politicians i've seen in a long time... if ever

Re: 2008 Election
I don't think Pataki would be strong enough to go up and win against McCain. McCain has a lot of momentum currently, but in 4 yrs. who knows. I like him. I find him smart and good on foreign issues, but he might be a little too far right for me domestically.

Re: 2008 Election
I would LOVE to see the independant party gain some strength... but since i dont see that happening in the way that it needs to to win an election.... my vote is going to be bascially for whichever one (besides being the most competant) is closest to the middle...This being the reason why i love the idea of both McCain and Lieberman

Re: 2008 Election
I think Hillary is a bad chouce. She has some great ideas, but people see her as this dominating woman, and many people don't like that. In think any woman who is powerful is going to turn people off by being 'too powerful', or if she's not powerful, she shouldnlt be president anyway, I think we're a long way from a female president, and Hillary is such a controversial figure anyway, she's widely hated.

I don't think Hills will run.And that's a good thing.. she probably the phoniest person I have ever seen in public life.
I could go much further into this but I'll abstain for now.
I would like to see Colin Powell run for Senate in NY and kick her arse! I certainly hopes he jumps into the Senate race because I don't think anyone else from NY could beat her, which is ridiculous because techincally, she's no New Yawker. JMHO.
