2009 RH Prices (Fall) ?

I'm torn between doing a destination wedding to save $$$ and having a wedding here at home to save the hassle of having my guest spend money to travel for my wedding. Does anyone know of RH that run within the budget of 65-70pp? Thanks in advance!!!

I would say to call the rivera in massapequa, it's on the water, it's one wedding at a time, and my FSIL got married there and the food was very good, prices were VERY reasonable and the people there were extremely helpful, good luck in your search!

Has anyone had any experience with Gennaro's Catering in Brooklyn. Their prices are very reasonable with inclusive packages. Recently, I have also checked out Betty's Catering in Brooklyn.

I too went down that road of destination wedding vs. staying home the planning hadn't gotten underway and I felt like I couldn't/didn't want to deal with it. I checked out Mexico weddings which seemed very affordable plus very lavish, then I started to worry how many of my guests would have passports. (I travel for a living and FH was not born in the US.)

I am still looking for a RH but feel like I have it under control now.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

My friend just went to a wedding at Betty's Catering - but she wasn't crazy about it. Could have been the type of wedding though - it was a cocktail only wedding - so it was one big cocktail hour....

Def try Fox Hollow ... but are you willing to look at other times of year? Because I know that Fall is one of the most expensive seasons to get married.

a friend of mine got married at the fox hollow in april - she paid 67pp. it was an amazing wedding... she planned it in november and got the best deals. the places would rather have the business at a lower price than none at all.

Sunset Harbour in East Patchogue is below 75pp for September.
