2010er crashing....when did you bustle?

At what point did you bustle your dress? And do you have any regrets about it? I'm thinking of doing it after the pictures are taken at the RH (so before our CH). My Mom thinks that people who didn't go to the Church should be able to see the whole dress but I hate the idea of holding the train during the first dance.

Any advice? TIA

Mine was a little strange because of the boat, but I did it just before I got on the boat, after my formals....

Here was my schedule.

Ceremony
Formals
Boat
Cocktail
Reception


NO REGRETS... loved having it down for the formals even though it got filthy on the sand. Would never have managed the boat with it and would have killed myself at the cocktail hour or dancing.

Before the reception. I wore it for the ceremony and photos only.

after all pics were taken& before went into the CH which we were in there for 45 minutes
